These projects were created over the course of several weeks during students' media special. Students conducted research to learn about what adaptations were. Then, they chose an animal to research with a partner or small group. They had to use lots of strategies for reading nonfiction to be able to identify their animal's adaptations and explain how they help the animal survive in its environment. Students then learned about searching for copyright free images, found a picture of their animal, and uploaded it to Edmodo. They wrote scripts that included the information they learned about their animal, and recorded their voices reading their scripts. They uploaded these files to Edmodo as well, and then turned both their image and audio files in to Mrs. Bock to create the final project!
